"Convinced that the harmony between mind and body is at the core of performance, I have been fortunate to lead a diverse career. Whether through organizing large-scale international events, offering mindfulness programs for leaders at IMD, or designing yoga and perinatal coaching trainings, my goal has always been to create spaces conducive to personal transformation. Today, as Director of the introspective retreat center Le Vaquier, I continue to support those seeking this balance, offering compassionate guidance and proven practices with neuroscience as a tool."

I first met Sylvain in 2010, when a friend recommended him as a private yoga teacher. I vividly remember him asking me what kind of result or outcome I hoped to achieve by working with him. My answer was simple: I wanted to reconnect with myself. At that time, I felt like a working zombie—disconnected from life, devoid of joy, and functioning more like a machine than a human being.

Working with Sylvain, I experienced gradual shifts, month after month, year after year. I became more aware of my thoughts, my body, and the deep connection between the two. His coaching was gentle and non-directive; rather than telling me what to do, he helped me become aware of my options and behaviors, encouraging self-observation. What stood out to me the most was that everything Sylvain shared and taught was something he genuinely lived himself.

Today, I’m a loving husband and father, and I truly enjoy life. For that, I’m deeply grateful.

Mission

The idea of sitting near yourself is to observe yourself, understand what drives you, what drains you, and what helps you perform better, without living in illusions.

Vision

We are composed of a physical body, sustained by energy, challenged by mental activity, and we grow through intellect. Ultimately, we reach a state of bliss, allowing us to die with a smile on our face.
